For families

How are caregivers verified?

Every caregiver completes identity verification. Most also complete a criminal background check, CPR certification, and — for regulated professionals like RNs and RPNs — professional license verification. Badges on each profile show exactly what's been verified.

How much does it cost for families?

Families never pay a subscription. You pay the caregiver's hourly rate for the visits you book, processed securely online. Rates typically range from $25/hr for companionship to $65+/hr for skilled nursing.

Can I book recurring visits?

Yes — choose one-time, weekly, or bi-weekly visits at booking. You can cancel or reschedule anytime from your dashboard.

Who can provide medical services like wound care or IV therapy?

Clinical services such as medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy are only offered by licensed professionals (RNs and RPNs/LPNs) whose licenses have been verified.

For caregivers

How do caregivers get paid?

Caregivers keep 100% of their caregiving rates. YolanCare never takes a commission — only standard payment processing fees apply. Payments made through YolanCare are securely processed by Stripe, which charges standard payment processing fees before your payout is deposited into your bank account.

Why is my payout different from the amount my client paid?

Payments made through YolanCare are securely processed by Stripe. Stripe charges standard payment processing fees before your payout is deposited into your bank account. YolanCare does not take a commission or percentage of your caregiving earnings. The only deduction is the standard payment processing fee charged by our payment processor.

What does the caregiver membership cost?

The professional membership is $19.99/month after a 14-day free trial. There are no contracts, and you can cancel anytime before your trial ends to avoid being charged.

Do I need to be a regulated health professional?

No. YolanCare welcomes nurses, personal support workers, health care aides, and companions. You choose the services you feel qualified to provide, and regulated services require a current, verified license.
